- Offers online banking products to help reduce paper waste and save customers trips to the bank or mailbox.
- Telecommuting and teleconferencing technologies are utilized to curb unnecessary travel.
- The majority of First National Bank’s buildings use energy efficient light bulbs and thermostats are set to economizer mode to minimize furnace and air conditioner usage.
- Recycling programs are in place to recycle plastic, aluminum and paper. Plus, all carpet remnants are even recycled.
In 2008, First National Bank recycled 366.865 tons of paper. Due to our employees’ efforts, we saved 6,236 trees, 1,504,146 kilowatt hours of energy, 2,568,055 gallons of water, 1,211 cubic yards of landfill space and 22,011 pounds of air pollution.
